THE OPEN STAGE with award winning actor Joshua Sasse
6 PM - 9:30 PM - 1st MAY for 8 weeks every Thursday Evening finishing 19th June.
LIMITED SPACES

For this 8 week course students are going to get an in depth sense of what different types of acting techniques from around the world can offer.
From Stanislavsky method of basing our acting intentions on our personal experience to how Sanford Meisner brought these practices up to date for screen work.
Students will also learn the fundamental rules of improvisation using the Commedia dell’arte method of understanding character, status and intention without any need for script.
Students will learn how to be objective about their own performances, write their own speeches and duologues and collectively write and perform a 1 act play using all the techniques they have learnt.
We will be working both on stage and on film and students will come away with tapes for reels and a showcase at the end of the course.
