APRIL 15,16,17 TH APRIL - EASTER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
School Holiday Teen Acting Workshop
9 AM - 3PM
LIMITED SPACES
Ages- 13 TEEN - 17 TEEN
In this summer school students are going to experience a 3-day high energy, fully immersive and extensive classical drama school experience, with a huge focus on the groundwork fundamentals of Commedia Dell’arte techniques of physical theatre and improvisation –culminating in a performance of what they have learnt at the end of the course.
We will be working extensively on Physicality and learning how to be intentional with every movement and gesture, as well as diction, pronunciation and accent. There will be also be one dedicated morning where we will be focusing on how to read a text, how to dissect a text and how to begin formulating character.
The class program will resemble as closely as possible a drama school environment and be key for any young actors to get a feeling of what is expected of them as young performers to work with their fellow actors, follow direction and develop a confidence in themselves as they participate in a detailed way of working.
