ABOUT KATE
With a career spanning more than two decades in the entertainment industry, Kate has dedicated the past decade to intensive, high-level professional actor training. She has immersed herself in some of the world’s most respected acting methodologies, including Chubbuck, Meisner, Stanislavski, Adler and the Susan Batson technique.
Her work has been shaped by internationally respected teachers including Ivana Chubbuck (LA), Susan Batson (NY), Anthony Brandon Wong and award-winning Australian director Kim Farrant, alongside leading casting directors and filmmakers, reflecting a deep, ongoing commitment to excellence and mastery of craft.
Four years ago, Kate channelled that same commitment into founding Actors Room Byron Bay, driven by a desire to bring world-class, industry-level training to actors outside the major cities, and to build an open-hearted community where they could learn directly from the best in the business.

Kate works with actors from talented teenagers through to established professionals, helping performers deepen emotional truth, elevate their craft and create genuine momentum in their careers. Alongside continuing her own work across film, television and music, she is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for actors by connecting them with world-class teachers, casting directors and industry professionals while building a vibrant creative community in Byron Bay.
Her vision is to ensure that actors no longer feel they need to leave Byron Bay to access exceptional training and genuine industry opportunities. Through Actors Room Byron Bay, she has built a creative hub over the last 4 years where talented teenagers, emerging actors and experienced professionals can train, collaborate, develop lasting industry relationships and build sustainable careers.
Ultimately, Kate’s goal is simple: to make Byron Bay one of Australia’s recognised destinations for professional actor training—where world-class teachers, industry professionals and creative opportunities come to actors, rather than actors always having to leave home to find them.
