What you'll gain
On-camera training: prepare a 1–2 minute monologue or scene, perform it on camera and receive direct feedback from Anna. Every actor takes home their filmed performance to review and keep. The day is built around accent precision — the core sounds, rhythms and nuances of both the General American and British Accents — alongside professional coaching to sharpen your authenticity across film, television, streaming, theatre, commercials and voice-over, all within a collaborative, creative environment.

ABOUT Anna McCrossin-Owen
Voice coach
Anna has worked on over 60 productions as Voice/Dialect Coach for Melbourne Theatre Company, with screen credits including The Witcher (Seasons 1–4), Relic, Winchester, Z for Zachariah and Deadloch. Her recent theatre credits include Sunset Boulevard, Death of a Salesman, Symphonie of the Bicycle, Oh Canada! (Cannes Film Festival) and Woman in Black (Australian Tour).
Only 14 actors will be accepted. Teens are welcome to apply; acceptance is at the discretion of Actors Room Byron Bay. This masterclass is a prerequisite for the upcoming Advanced American Accent Masterclass later this year with Kohli Calhoun (Sirens, Severance, Fallout, Summer of 69).
