Natalie Wall - Nikki Barrett Casting

Join Natalie Wall, Sydney-based casting consultant with Nikki Barrett Casting, for a full-day masterclass exploring what casting directors are really looking for.

With credits including Black Snow, Bay of Fires, The Moogai, Of An Age and The PM's Daughter, Natalie brings deep industry experience and a sharp focus on story, character analysis and finding truth in performance — insight you won't get anywhere else.

What can you expect?

Natalie Wall of Barrett Casting has cast more than forty Australian and international productions, including One More Shot, Black Snow, Bay of Fires, The Sapphires, and Of an Age. Now she's spending a focused four-hour intensive working on audition scenes on the floor with a small group of actors.

This is on-camera scene work from the ground up. You'll see what casting directors actually look for, then put it straight into practice with feedback and direction on camera. It's about taking direction in the moment, refining your choices, and learning how to make a genuine impact in the limited time an audition gives you.
